On April 26, after worship members of our church posed in support of the Religious Institute's movement to support marriage equality. We are one of over 200 congregations and faith communities to have signed up to join them in prayer to support the legal teams, plaintiffs and all American families who will be anxiously watching the Supreme Court's deliberations on the issue of same sex marriage on April 28th. From the Institute, "this historic case will bring national resolution to the freedom to marry and a victory would allow thousands of loving, committed couples long-awaited marriage rights. Thirteen states currently ban marriage for same-sex couples." For more on the Religious Institute's stand on this issue, click
